Long has the time been that Golden Sun players (especially we Europeans!) had to wait until the sequel's release, already stirred up by screenshots and videos, but since the autumn of 2003 we're able to experience the end of the complex story behind Weyard's fate, too! The sequel, translated as "Golden Sun: The Lost Age", shared many similarities with its predecessor. A step forward had been taken both graphically and acoustically, though, the GBA was brought to its limits! The story continues smoothly and many of the game's new elements such as the Lemurian Ship, the summon combinations and new items aplenty gave some fresh variety to even the most experienced of players. It is diffult to be on par with a classic like Golden Sun, but 'TLA' still achieves this feat despite some flaws. A worthy end to an RPG series that certainly has no equal! Or may there be a much anticipated third installment ahead of us...?
