Characters (The Lost Age)
Overview
The Main Characters
Felix
Name: | Felix (US/D), Garcia (J) |
| Home: | Vale |
| Age: | 18 |
| Adept Type: | Venus Adept |
| Class: | Squire |
A hostage in the first part, but now Felix is the leader of the remaining group. He's Jenna's brother and a friend of Isaac and Garet, who viewed him as drowned since the Great Storm. Just like Isaac he's a Venus Adept, too, as well as an extremely strong warrior.
Sadly Isaac's loss of words in the first game has now infected him.
Jenna
Name: | Jenna (US/D), Jasmine (J) |
| Home: | Vale |
| Age: | 17 |
| Adept Type: | Mars Adept |
| Class: | Flame User |
A girl so caring that it can only be Jenna. Jenna always has a kind heart and has been in better mood since she got to know about her surviving brother. In "The Lost Age" she wholeheartedly supports Felix, yet still she fears a possible fight against her friends Isaac and Garet. In battle the hot-tempered Jenna is a kind of allrounder, both striking, spellcasting and healing make up her arguments.
Sheba
Name: | Sheba (US), Cosma (D), Shiva (J) |
| Home: | ??? |
| Age: | 14 |
| Adept Type: | Jupiter Adept |
| Class: | Wind Seer |
The mysterious Cosma certainly appears to be a child of the heavens: supposedy she fell to earth from the heaven above Lalivero. Raised by Faran she's always wondered what her true origin is since being able to think. But it hasn't been until being freed as Babi's and Hagartio's hostage that she can truly search for an answer. She's no warrior, but on the other hand can summon thunder and lightning all the better!
Piers
Name: | Piers (US), Aaron (D), Picard (J) |
| Home: | Lemuria |
| Age: | ??? (!) |
| Adept Type: | Mercury Adept |
| Class: | Mariner |
Piers is a Lemurian spy who's been ordered to find out the changes of the oceans and continents. Unfortunately he was then captured by the people of Madra, so it's up to you to get him released! He's both a very good warrior and healer, though admittedly not quite reaching Mia here.
Isaac
Name: | Isaac (US/D), Robin (J) |
| Home: | Vale |
| Age: | 17 |
| Adept Type: | Venus Adept |
| Class: | Squire |
Yes. you'll meet Isaac and the others again later in the game and even ally with them! He headed off with his friends to find Felix after being victorious over the Fusion Dragon. Although Isaac won't be a direct leader anymore, his power won't have lessened any! He's still one of the strongest warrios imaginable in Golden Sun!
Garet
Name: | Garet (US/D), Gerald (J) |
| Home: | Vale |
| Age : | 17 |
| Adept Type: | Mars Adept |
| Class: | Warrior |
Of course there's no Isaac without Garet, his best friend since his childhood. Garet's a warrior, too, and coupled with the new classes in The Lost Age he'll become a nearly undefeatable fortress in battle! But also his fire psnyergy's able to compete with Jenna's.
Ivan
Name: | Ivan (US/D), Ian (J) |
| Home: | Kalay |
| Age: | 15 |
| Adept Type: | Jupiter Adept |
| Class: | Wind Seer |
In the prophecy Ivan received the task to go to Hesperia, which he's also eventually doing along with his friends. Therefore nothing's still bounding him to his master, Lord Hammet. Ivan is feared for his wind psynergy and is generally a little more enduring than Cosma.
Mia
Name: | Mia (US/D), Mary (J) |
| Home: | Imil |
| Age: | 17 |
| Adept Type: | Mercury Adept |
| Class: | Augure |
The angel in human shape! Mia still remains the reference for healing power in The Lost Age, and isn't she even a teacher of this field? Sadly this also more or less applies to her hatred of her former student Alex, as he betrayed her, in the second game...!
Kraden
A scholar and researcher from Tolbi, hired by Lord Babi. Professor Kraden will help you out as your companion with his immense knowledge, maybe not seldomly a little too much. After the sudden report of Babi's death he's become free of his duty, though. Of course you cannot expect to still see him having to strain his old bones in the battles. ;-)
Agatio
Name: | Agatio (US/J), Hagartio (D) |
| Home: | Prox |
| Age: | ?? |
| Adept Type: | Mars Adept |
| Class: | ??? |
Hagartio and his campanion are trying to finish the work started by Saturos. It may be fear that prevents him from trying to take the group hostage as well after seeing Saturos fail against Isaac's superiority. Even though Saturos has been regarded as the strongest warrior of Prox, Hagartio appears to be on par with him at the least.
Sadly endowed with the intelligence of a Coke can.
Karst
Name: | Karst (US/J), Dinaria (D) |
| Home: | Prox |
| Age: | ?? |
| Adept Type: | Mars Adept |
| Class: | ??? |
And here we have Menardi's younger sister. Because Isaac was responsible for her's sister's death she's bearing a deadly hatred against him. But apparently she's dealing with it more with providence and slyness, just like her sister did.
Why do there always have to be such bitches as the female antagonists?
Alex
Name: | Alex (US/D/J) |
| Home: | Imil (?) |
| Age: | ?? |
| Adept Type: | Mercury Adept |
| Class: | ??? |
You'll find out the whole of Alex' dirty plan in the second game... Still he's showing himself as friendly and partner-like towards Felix and the group until he disappears through the tidal wave. The rest is Fate...

Mayor of Madra
Madra's mayor fortunately is a sincere one and a person who cares about the others' well-being. After all he even personally travels to Alhafra to prove a prisoner's innocence. Quite the opposite of the mayor there...
Mayor of Alhafra
Sadly it has to be said that Alhafra didn't get a very good mayor. That's because he's only thinking of his own power and profit. Due to this he's sometimes overly losing his patience, much to the misfortune of his advisors... <_<
Maha
Maha's the chief of Garoh. Like all residents of that village he's a lycanthrop, a werewolf. He once travelled to Air's Rock und thus has stronger powers in the use of the winds than the other residents of Garoh. He's living quite reculusively.

Kushinada

Briggs
Briggs hails from Champa, a town of fishers. Since the men of Champa had to become pirates and started plundering Weyard's settlements he is the leader of that group. But still he's actually good at heart. He has a wife, Caucha, and also a son with her, Eoleo. Obaba's his grandmother.
Caucha
Briggs' wife and mother of Eoleo, the child of the two. She loves him. And him. I mean, both! Well, she's caring incessently for the two, and apparently that's necessary as well...
Obaba
Obaba's the last remaining descendant of the people of Anemos, a grand civilisation still from the Age of Alchemy which were mostly known for their outstanding forging skills, they also created the Trident. Currently she's living in Champa. She's also Briggs' granny, by the way!

Hydros
King Hydros, the ruler over the ancient and legendary Lemurian civilisation! He's already reigning over the kingdom of Lemuria since a very long time, but still he thinks it's slowly losing more and more of its shine. He thinks the sealed Alchemy might be the cause, therefore his wish is to ignite the elemental lighthouses again. The sceptical senate's actively opposing this aim, and not seldomly King Hydros can be seen arguing with Lord Conservato about this.
Conservato
Lord Conservato's the head of the Lemurian senate. He, like most of the other senates, is very much sticking to traditions, doesn't seek changes and is, nomen est omen, quite conservative in general. He often sparks some heated debates with the more liberal King Hydros.
Lunpa
Once Lunpa has been a great thief who liked to travel day in, day out. But despite this he was regarded as a noble and honourable thief. Soon he founded a city in Angara and named it after himself. During one of his other travels he ended up in Lemuria, where he's still living today – arguably without thievish traits.
Moapa
The Shaman Village's chief. Here he's living in relative isolation together with his people and generally is suspicious towards foreigners. Still he's very serious about his duties and acts confidently. He awaits the fulfilling of an old prophecy that includes a hero appearing with the Shaman's Rod.
Hama
Master Hama is, as you'll see later in the game, Ivan's big sister. She's a Jupiter Adept just like him, plus she already knows Isaac's group from the first part. She has visions about the future and will give you hints about where your journey will lead you to.
Puelle
Puelle hails from Prox and is the leader of the last remaining warriors of the village there. He's waiting for you with his troup as a reserve and preparing to go into Mars Lighthouse in case you should fail on your mission.
Families
Kyle, Isaac's father
Isaac's father was nearly smashed by a giant boulder during the Great Storm in Vale three years ago. He got lost thereby. Now he's living as a hostage in Prox together with Felix' and Jenna's parents, separated from his family.
Dora, Isaac's mother
Is only seen during the credits. The loving mother of Isaac suffered deep mourning and fear during her son's absence, though, this fortunately changes...
Garet's father
Is only seen during the credits. A strong father and full of hope!
Garet's mother
Is only seen during the credits. Very caring about her only son.
Garet's grandfather
Is only seen during the credits. Garet's grandfather is, by the by, the mayor of Vale, which unfortunately perished in the end. But there's always a new beginning!
Garet's grandmother
Is only seen during the credits. The friendly old lady per se.
Garet's sister
Is only seen during the credits. She's always very worried about her big little brother, as she doesn't think of him to be the brightest bulb in the box. She loves gardens, but not when Garet's wasting them during his training once again
Garet's brother
Garet's nameless little brother who looks way too much like a girl! Sadly only seen during the credits, where he has to giggle about his big brother.
Felix' and Jenna's father
Like Isaac's father Kyle he's a prisoner in Prox as well, after the Storm carried him away three years ago.
Felix' and Jenna's mother
The mother of Jenna and Felix is, just like her husband and Isaac's father Kyle, a prisoner of the Proxians until they finally have to be released and travel back to their hometown, happily united.
