Ah yes, when I was young I could also have such adventures, har har h...! *cough* Anyway, during one of my earlier journeys I once saw a truly magical spring in a strange and far away city, and it I decided to rebuild in my own empire! Furthermore I allowed gambling games in my city. What, you have no clue about them? Then allow me to give a little introduction to you...

The Tolbi Spring

As soon as you've entered my city you just cannot miss its spring. I had it built in the midst of the city centre, you're directly coming up to it..

Now please take a look at this famous spring! Whoever tosses something into it shall receive something good. The more he manages it to toss to the centre, the bigger luck shall be bestowed to him. But that's not too easy! Ancient turtles living in the spring will be a hindrance for you.

On the one hand you can toss coins here and be likely rewarded with some more money in the bag afterwards. But moreover you can toss some lucky medals, which I'm sure you've already found on your journey... but please CHOOSE THEM WITH CAUTION!! *cough* After all they're rare and valuable...

Once you've tossed a lucky medal, a precious artefact will be given to the lucky thrower as a reward! Here you'll receive more valuable things when tossing nearer to the centre as well. You're asking yourself now what's to get here? O dear, these impatient lads nowadays... but I'll tell you about them. So listen carefully:

	Assassin Blade A very strong and death-bringing dagger, this is the main prize! Try carefully to aim the spring's center for it!
	Burning Axe Hot, with good curves, just like a young girl, har har h...! cough
	Grievous Mace A blow from this mace can shake the earth!
	Spirit Armour Another main prize! It'll give you protection from the elements, nowaday's warriors do seem to need such a thing.
	Earth Shield One of the more valuable things here. With it you're well-set against the powers of earth.
	Adept's Helmet Adepts such as as you can conjure even more with this helmet! That's fun, isn't it?
	Glittering Tiara Ah, that glittering! A blinding beauty, even to your enemies.
	Cocktail Dress Pretty, pretty! This neat little dress raises your psynergy. I bet Mia's looking most splendid in it, he he.
	Kimono A further really nice dress, and definiteley fashionable!
	Battle Gloves Oh yes, these gloves are useful to a good warrior! As no one likes to have freezing fingers in the fights...
	Guardian Armlet Grants you a helpful protection in battle!
	Water of Life Consolation price – this drink animates body and spirit! Well, I like it!
	Psy Crystal Consolation price – if your psynergy's close to running out, with this it'll be strong as ever again!
	Potion Consolation price – makes even weakened heroes fit again!

The Lucky Wheels

In the very northeast of Tolbi you'll find a building with another game... The Lucky Wheels! Expect a kind of slot machine behind them. So let's take a look!

In order to play the slot machine you'll need game tickets. I'm sure you already received them numerous times as a gift after purchasing something rather costy from a trader.

The game's object is to get a row full of the same symbols! How many of these rows will count in your game depends on the number of tickets you use. One ticket means one row, two tickets two, three tickets five and four tickets even seven rows.

Pull the lever and the wheels will start to spin! You can do this five times in a row in every game. Once all the wheels have stopped you can choose with the star buttons the slots you don't want to change! That way you can try to slowly approach your desired row... Oh, one more thing: You can also halt the wheels early, when they're still spinning, before this is automatically done.

Once a row is completed you'll receive your prize! It will depend on what symbol the row consisted of. Am I right in that you also want to know what the prizes here are? Well, your curiosity truly doesn't seem to have any limit! But once again I'll answer your wish:

	Mythril Shirt Very robust for such a little shirt! It grants you optimal protection.
	Silk Shirt Noble, very noble even! I'm sure you'll be sleeping well with it.

	Potion Exactly, only just at the Spring! Bloody hell, the age...
	Vial The content of this brew is a welcome refreshing in battle!

The Lucky Dice

The last game that shall sweeten your stay in Tolbi: The Luck Dice! You can find them in the arcade right northeast of the Spring.

The rules of the game are actually quite simple: you have a game field with six numbered areas in front of you. Furthermore you have two dice in your hand. Throw these dice into the field! Now four numbers are counted: The first two numbers are the numbers you rolled with the dice, and the other two numbers are the numbers shown on the part of the field on which they've landed. These numbers are then analysed.

If you have one pair, you'll get your bet back, but twice the amount when there are two pairs! Three of the same number mean a triple win, and if all numbers are the same the win's even four times the bet! This can only be outdone with a perfect bonus: if that number's also corresponding, you'll get EIGTH TIMES the bet!

Well, these already were the attractions I can offer to you! Maybe you'll find your personal favourite game amongst them. But beware, they're all very addictive, har har h...! *cough* So, may Lady Luck be with you!

The Lemuria Spring

Okay, get the old geezer out of the way, now it's time for me! Hello, my dear adventurers, Piers speaking here about and from Lemuria. Since the building of this city there lies the original, only true and second-to-none Lemuria Spring in it! A certain scoundrel later rebuilt it in his own city. Damn, wish we had patented the whole thing, we'd be even richer now! But, well, at least we still have the better prices by far here! I wish more people would come to Lemuria... Now let's take a look at the Spring!

The Spring's located in the city centre, but close to Lemuria's entrance. It'll surely be one of the first things you see here! Once it has been the source of our long life, but in recent times it has become merely a tourist atttraction. If we only had tourists, ha ha! Now let's take a closer look at it.

To each luck shall be given who tosses something into the Spring. But whoever throws rubbish into it will be forced to watch the next ten senate meeting as punishmet! >:-) Stand in front of it and get ready to toss, so that the water drains away. Now you can choose what to toss into it: coins of lucky medals!

You'll surely have coins aplenty with you, toss one into it, certainly you'll be rewarded with more coins in the end! The closer the coin gets to the spring's centre, the higher the reward. Same applies to your other option, the lucky medals! I'm sure you've already found some of them during your journey. Toss them and receive a mighty artefact as reward. But choose them with deliberation!

	Eclipse A stone tablet with a new summon! Eclipse is a mighty dragon of the skies. You can only get this tablet once.
	Hestia Blade A very powerful and valuable sword!
	Erebus Mail This armours heals you consistently and is especially recommended to experienced warriors.

	Mighty Axe This flaming axe is a strong weapon indeed!
	Minerva Helm This helmet protects you, but it also improves your constitution.
	Crown of Glory It gradually restores your PP! Very good for all magicians.
	Leda's Bracelet Your Jupiter Power is vastly increased with Leda's might!
	Crafted Gloves With it your warriors can strike even harder!
	Brilliant Circlet The shiny gems of this circlet are said to bring their wearer good luck.
	Floral Dress A cute dress, just perfect for our Lemurian girls!
	Wild Coat This leathern coat is surprisingly light and lets you become quicker.
	Water of Life Consolation price – it'll do you a good serve should you fall in battle.
	Psy Crystal Consolation price – Use this when your psynergy's about to run out!
	Potion Consolation price – better heal yourself with this before it's too late!

The Lucky Wheels in Contigo

Thanks Picard, truly excellent. But now I'll take over the command here! I've already awaited you, don't look at me so surprised! My name's Hama, currently the Master of the Lama Temple and Ivan's big sister. I live in Contigo to help fulfilling the important prophecy about Weyard. And I'm not particularly excited about this...! But at least we have some very neat games here that can take away your boredom in the meantime. Please allow me to show them to you! Then let's go into the first tent here in Contigo...

These are the Lucky Wheels, Contigo's slot machine. Turn the one-armed bandit on and five rows will start to spin! Try to halt the rows so that there's always the same symbol shown, then you'll receive a reward. It can be a shirt, some boots, a ring or a healing item. To play you'll just need some game tickets, those things the traders are sometimes giving to you after a purchase. You can also use more than one in a game, to increase your chances of winning!

The Lucky Dice in Contigo

And the next game, of which you probably already know... But whatever, it's always fun again! The right tent north of the village centre is wholly dedicated to the Lucky Dice. The game's really easy to understand: there are two dice and a field with six numbered areas. Throw the two dice and look what numbers are on their top and on what area they're lying.

Are two or even more numbers the same, then you'll get your winnings! This one's always a multiple of your bet. One pair will give you your bet back, two pairs the double amount, a triple three times the amount, and a perfect game even four times the money! By the way, there are two perfect bonuses in every game. If you get a perfect game on one of the areas shown you'll even get the eightfold bet back!

The Super Lucky Dice

So, and now the last and nicest of the games in Contigo. The Super Lucky Dice!!! =D The tent with this game is the left one north of the village centre. It's right next to the normal Lucky Dice tent.

The Super Lucky Dice are not only just super, no, but super simple, too! Basically you have a bowl-shaped playing field and four dice. Pay your bet and throw the four dice. The pits shown are now added and you'll have to choose whether the sum of the pits will be higher or lower in the next round. So be smart and say higher when there's a lower sum and vice-versa. Insofar Fate won't play a trick on you, you should get really far this way. Each round the winnings double, but you can also lose everything at any time! However, if you're a sissy and can't stand the pressure anymore you can also have the current winnings paid out to you at any time.

And, already won much? Sometimes it's just plain bad luck, though. I fortunately can easily earn my bread and butter with my amazing winning streak. Ohh, I love my clairvoyant abilities thereby...
