Chapter 26: Lalivero

Lalivero will be the last place that you'll visit in Golden Sun. You can reach the town by simply following the further footpath after the Venus Lighthouse, it's located right north of the house. By the way, on the picture you can already spot Babi's Lighthouse north of Lalivero.

Right before the towngates you'll stumble across defeated soldiers from Tolbi who are stationed here. They'll tell Iodem and you that a group along with Sheba went past them and they thereby severely injured them in a battle... The group went to Babi's Lighthouse and into the ruins there. Iodem's sure that these ruins must lie beneath Babi's Lighthouse! He and the soldiers ask you to go after that group as quick as possible. Leaves me wondering why the Laliveroans aren't taking care of these soldiers right now?

Of course you're going to hurry, but at first you should have a little rest here in Lalivero! There are some things left to do here before your departure. Run to the pillar in the town centre and examine it – a Psy Crystal! East of the pillar lies the trading house, and if there's been a sortiment that's astonished you before, this one will certainly leave you lost for words! Some of the game's best weapons and armours can be found here! My best advice here is simply said to purchase everything until your purse bursts.

After the shopping climb up the ladder standing to the merchants' right on a wall. With it you can reach the roof of the building. From here on jump onto the eastern town wall and run to its end. Jump to the sanctum's roof and afterwards to the one of the western house. Climb up the vine and look into the pots here... In one of them you can find a Water of Life!

Like you've surely already seen there's also a Mars Djinni waiting for you in Lalivero. Move back to onto the town wall amd run further in westwards direction. Soon you'll be able to jump onto the roof where the djinni's currently resting. Climb up to it and talk to it, without further ado "Torch" the Mars Djinni will want to join you on your quest! In the ideal case it's now your seventh and thus last Mars Djinni. Now run back to the trading house and exit it again.

Now take a closer look at the southwestermost house of Lalivero. It Faran's, who has a similar high position as a warrior in Lalivero like Iodem in Tolbi. Furthermore he and his wife have been the adoptive parents of Sheba. Faran's not at home right now, as he's occupied with the pursue of Sheba's kidnappers.

Climb up the ladder in Faran's house to get atop its roof. From there on you can get onto the western town wall. Now run further here until you come to a vine, which you should climb down. You'll get to a chest in which there lies the Warrior's Helm. That very headgear's quite likely the best possible helm in the game for Isaac, period. Now go back to the town square!

And it's slowly about time again to leave the town! But at least it's because of high urgency. The shaking man north of the pillar will really horrified confirm you that Sheba and her kidnappers have gone to the ruins.

So, let the chase begin! Pass the northern entrance of Lalivero that'll lead you towards Babi Lighthouse.
